Attack is the best defence

My fifth blindfold game is the first that I am really happy with, although my opponent gifted me with an attack very early on. I was familiar with the typical opening moves up until around move 8, and from that point (with Black's blunder) White's moves are natural and flow fairly easily. See game viewer.

I kept track of just about everything in this game, although that is easier in a familiar position, particularly when you are dictating the play and the game is relatively short. Thinking back to errors in thinking I can only really remember briefly wondering if I could play dxe7 at one point, before realising quickly that the bishop had already moved on.

I played all my moves in twenty minutes total, while my opponent spent ten minutes, so it was all over before my concentration began to get strained (e.g. as it did past the hour mark in this game). I saw the f2-f4 move winning the bishop fairly quickly, so that's my second ever blindfold 'tactic' (the first being 14...Qf4+ in my second blindfold game).
